Sundrum™ is a unique wooden tunable tongue drum created by Valter Kinbom. Its 12 beautifully designed tongues can be tuned tuned with our patent pending Magnetic tuning system. from highest note C4 down to G1 so the range is quite high and allows you to use it as bass instrument or higher pitched. The sound is a mix between a marimba and a kalimba and the sustain is perfect for fast rhythmic melody playing.
The Sundrum™ can be played by fingers or with mallets and many different sounds can be achieved depending on how you strike it.
It plays perfectly live and in studio with exernal mics though it's quite silent. So we recommoend you to buy it with the built in mic system. With the mic system you can use it along with any guitar effects and tweak the sound as you wish.
