Like the other flutes in the Doppel Nova series, the decorative engraving is inspired by the theme of feathers. The Doppel Nova Bass "D" flute has a deep, low tone that is meditative and even. This bass flute is tuned in the key of low "E" minor and can also be played in the relative diatonic major scale in the key of "G".
