On 21.6.2023 we celebrated the `Day of Music` in front of our store in Zofingen.
In the afternoon there was a great children animation with Renato Britto:
and in the evening after the Kora lessons a wonderful concert with Kora (Sadio Cissokho) and Cello (Hannah Chaia).
Here I would like to tell the story of Sadio:
The concert was wonderful, who wants to watch it, can do that thanks to Felix production here:

Music therapy is a scientifically recognized form of therapy that studies the effects of music on the body and psyche.
This form of therapy makes the connection between music and healing and uses music as a tool to create a link between the body, mind and spirit.
In a music therapy session, musical instruments and musical pieces are used as therapeutic tools to improve the patient's emotional, cognitive, and psychomotor skills.
Musical instruments make it possible to have a wide range of creative and interactive experiences that can lead to better emotional regulation, social acceptance, and overall improved mental and physical well-being.
Therapeutic instruments used in music therapy include drums, xylophones, guitars, singing bowls, monochords , and in fact almost any instrument.
Music therapy interacts on many levels, including emotional, cognitive, motor, and social. Music therapy can help children, adolescents and adults cope better with their problems and challenges.
It can be done in a variety of ways, including using musical instruments, participating in music lessons, singing, and listening to music.
It is not necessary for you to be a professional musician. Even if you don't have any musical experience, you can reap the benefits of music therapy.
It can also help improve concentration and stimulate creativity.
Singing can also be an effective music therapy tool because it creates a mind-body connection.
By using your voice, you can open your body and mind to a deeper connection with your inner world.
Your voice is a powerful tool to help you find, express, heal and strengthen your inner self.
If you're looking for a new way to take control of your problems and relax yourself, consider music therapy.

Children and musical instruments - that's a very special connection.
Children discover their love of music at an early age and often can hardly get enough of it. But there are many other reasons why children should learn musical instruments.
It is a wonderful way to learn many skills and build a child's self-confidence. These include creativity, commitment, perseverance and discipline.
Various musical instruments are especially suitable for children to lay a musical foundation. Flutes, stringed instruments or drums/percussion - each instrument has its own challenge and manages to inspire children.
With a simple children's instrument, you can play the first notes and invent your own melodies at a young age. If you as a parent support your child in this, he or she will experience the fascination of music over time.
Whether one learns the piano, guitar, drums or another instrument is entirely up to the child's preferences. However, children should not be overtaxed in the process. It is important to give them the opportunity to get to know the instrument in a playful way and gradually teach them the necessary skills.
In time, they can then learn more complex musical pieces and rhythms. Musical instruments are a great way to encourage children and bring them joy.
