Shruti Box - medium size with 13 semitones (C-c)

We offer shruti boxes in three different sizes - all with a range of 13 chromatic semitones from C to C. The tones can be opened individually and thus combined flexibly.

Compared to the small version, the medium model has a larger bellows volume. This produces a much more stable, fuller sound that is more even in the room. Especially when opening several tones at the same time, the medium model enables slower and quieter pumping than the compact version.

Another quality feature: while the bellows wings of the small and large versions are made of laminated plywood, the medium model is made entirely of solid teak - including the bellows wings.

For overtone singing, we recommend the large Shruti Box due to its particularly large air volume. However, if you are looking for a compact yet powerful-sounding alternative, this medium size is an excellent choice.
