People often ask me where I learned to make drums. The drum itself taught me. I used to work a lot with goatskin and change the skins of djembés. I had wanted to make ritual drums for a long time, and during the corona period I finally had the time to try it.

I love creating drums - each one is unique. I let my intuition guide me when making them: the type of skin, dyed or natural, the right frame, the wood, the timing.

This drum is reduced because there is a small metal pin inside that presses lightly against the skin. However, the sound is so beautiful that I didn't want to open it again. Even if the pin were to make a hole in the skin over time, this would have no effect on the sound or stability.
