The CA-50 is the improved successor to the popular CA-40. With its detection range of A0 (27.50Hz) ~ C8 (4186.01Hz), the CA-50 is suitable for tuning all imaginable instruments. In addition, it responds very quickly, so that you are in the picture almost immediately. And since there is also a highly sensitive microphone on board, you don't need any additional devices for a consistent result, unless you want to block out the noisy orchestral environment and prefer to work with an optional CM-100 contact microphone. There is even an output socket so that you can follow the purity of the tones produced and possibly correct them even when playing (electrically). The CA-40 is clearly pocket-sized, but contains a fold-out support and can therefore be set up almost anywhere.
