The traditional violin, also known as N'Ddiaraka or N'Jarka, consists of a single string, which is actually made of horsehair. The bow also has a cord made of horsehair. It consists of a calabash for the resonating body and a balafon wooden neck. The string comes from a special violin horsehair. The skin tension of this model is adjustable.
