The MEINL Sonic Energy Soundhole Kalimba (also known as a thumb piano) is a soft-sounding, melodic instrument that fills the room with heavenly sounds when played. With 17 precisely tuned steel reeds in the scale of C major, the kalimba can be played intuitively - without any previous musical knowledge. Ideal for meditation, sound therapy, yoga or creative musical moments - whether alone, in class or on stage.

Made from solid mahogany wood with a glossy finish, it not only has an elegant appearance, but also a warm, resonant sound. The traditional sound hole ensures longer sustain and a pleasantly mellow sound.

This model is available with or without an integrated pickup, depending on your preference. The pickup version has a high-quality 6.3 mm jack socket - perfect for gigs, recordings or larger rooms.

Also included: a padded case for safe transport, a microfiber cloth, a canvas bag and a tuning hammer for readjustment. The kalimba is ready to play on delivery - tuned to either 440 Hz or 432 Hz.
