The Frog Dr ums are the perfect alternative to other reed drums, more affordable and of top quality. Each blade is fully harmonized and provides an exceptionally round sound.

Manufacture & Quality

Every Frog Drum is made from high-quality steel - without a lacquer coating. A special heat treatment gives it a rust-inhibiting protective layer. Thanks to their stable resonator design, Frog drums never need to be retuned: They are precisely tuned once during production and retain their sound for decades.

Sound & playing style

The fullness of sound is reminiscent of the sacred beauty of a cathedral sound:

• Root note in the center

• Fifth and octave at the edges

The Frog Drum can be played excellently with the hands, but can also be used with rubber mallets for even more intense sounds. It is suitable for beginners and professionals alike - music technology for everyone!

Care instructions:

• Like any high-quality instrument, the Frog Drum requires careful care:
• Only use Phoenix oil (specially developed for handpans) for cleaning.
• Wipe with a microfiber cloth after each playing.
• 3-4 oil treatments per year are sufficient (more often for frequent outdoor use).
• Do not put oil inside - this is not necessary.
