At Universe Gongin Portugal, every gong is crafted entirely by hand. The manufacturing process combines traditional craftsmanship, precise listening, and the power of fire.

A specially selected metal alloy is heated and shaped through repeated, careful hammering. This process not only creates the shape but also produces the instrument’s unique sound, with its deep tones and overtones.

The tuning is also done by hand until a harmonious and powerful sound is achieved. The visible marks left by fire and craftsmanship make each gong a unique instrument.
