BeschreibungKOSHI ch imes are delicate musical instruments of the highest quality, lovingly handcrafted in the French Pyrenees. Each individual chime combines precise craftsmanship with tonal sophistication.
Inside the cylindrical resonating body, eight strings of different lengths are attached to a metal disk and soldered to silver. Thanks to precise tuning, harmonious melodies are created from clear tones and floating overtones. The overtones of the shortest strings gradually become dominant and form a gently circling tone sequence.
The KOSHI chimes are available in four tunings - each with its own distinctive sound character:
Earth (G - C - E - F - G - C - E - G): symbolizes stability, clarity and rootedness. Corresponds to the zodiac signs Taurus, Virgo and Capricorn.
Water: stands for empathy, intuition and change. Associated with: Cancer, Scorpio, Pisces.
Air: embodies lightness, communication and inspiration. Associated with: Gemini, Libra, Aquarius.
Fire: brings energy, creativity and passion. Corresponds to: Aries, Leo, Sagittarius.
