The 12-string Arabic oud is a traditional Arabic stringed instrument with a distinctive pear-shaped body and a warm, expressive sound. The oud is one of the most important instruments in Arabic music and is also used in Turkish and Oriental musical traditions.

The body of this oud is made of fine walnut wood . The combination of a walnut body and spruce top gives the instrument a natural, warm tone with beautiful resonance. The neck and pegbox are also made of walnut. The fingerboard and tuning pegs are made of ebony.

With 12 strings in 6 courses , the oud offers a rich and distinctive sound. The fretless neck allows for the flexible intonation typical of Arabic music and the ability to play subtle nuances in pitch.

Particularly beautiful are the three round sound holes with decorative goatskin rosettes, which give the oud its traditional Oriental appearance.
