Flute in A from hazel (440 Hz)

This flute was made from hazel wood from a forest site in the Emmental. The wood was allowed to rest for a year before being sanded and oiled by hand. The surface is even and bears fine traces of binding - silent signs of its craftsmanship and natural origin.

With a length of 44 cm and a weight of 113 g, it lies light and balanced in the hands - almost as if it were a matter of course.
