The Lyre Harp – 16 Strings is an elegant 16-string lyre harp with a warm, clear, and balanced tone. With its 16 strings, it offers a significantly wider range than the 8-string version and opens up more possibilities for melodies, accompaniment, and free improvisation.

The body and the bridge are made of solid rosewood The meticulously crafted arms are decorated with inlays, while the ash wood top, featuring carved stars, gives the instrument a distinctive, artistic look. The hardware is made of sturdy stainless steel.

16 strings – wide range

The 16 metal strings are in D major and range from low D3 to the high E5:

D3 – E3 – F#3 – G3 – A3 – B3 – C#3 – D4 – E4 – F#4 – G4 – A4 – B4 – C#5 – D5 – E5

This provides a range of two octaves plus. The clear layout of the strings allows for intuitive playing and is suitable for both beginners and advanced players.

Thanks to its design, the harp can be played comfortably on your lap. The strings are plucked with the fingers and can be played individually or in combinations—ideal for gentle melodies, accompaniments, and improvisation.
