It combines high-quality materials, a warm sound and user-friendly playability with an attractive price-performance ratio. Thanks to its compact size and comparatively low weight, it is suitable for lessons as well as rehearsals, performances and travel.
The stable frame made of solid ash wood ensures durability and stability, while the mahogany resonance body produces a warm, full sound with a pronounced resonance. The solid spruce top supports a clear response and a balanced sound development across the entire range. The roundback construction gives the harp its characteristic, round sound and ensures a pleasant fullness of tone.
With 29 high-quality special harp strings and 29 precise semitone levers, the McHugh Atlas offers a chromatic range from C3 to C7 over 4 octaves. This makes it suitable for traditional Celtic music as well as for classical pieces and modern arrangements. Color-coded strings facilitate orientation and make the instrument particularly beginner-friendly.
The removable legs allow different playing positions and increase playing comfort. High-quality stainless steel fittings, tuning pegs and levers ensure a long service life and reliable tuning stability. A tuning key and a padded carrying bag are already included in the scope of delivery.
