The Bhava Lite Concert Teak is one of the highest-quality and most compact Delhi-style floor harmoniums available. The design in the Delhi style, featuring 32 simple bar keys, has been deliberately stripped down to the essentials. The case is crafted from carefully seasoned, solid teak and features an elaborate dovetail joints — rather than the glue, nails, and screws commonly used in many harmoniums. This traditional construction not only ensures great stability but also contributes significantly to the instrument’s unique resonance and characteristic sound.

The designers deliberately omitted potentially problematic octave couplers, stop separators, and drone stops. As a result, the harmonium remains lightweight, sturdy, and particularly easy to transport. The natural beauty of the teak wood is also preserved: The wood is not artificially stained and displays its unique grain and warm, natural color.

The extra-soft bellows allow for a steady airflow, long sustain, and a gentle decay of the notes. High-quality Punjabi-style reeds ensure a light response and a balanced, harmonious tone.
