Double flute Wolf Pack 'F#' Signature

The Wolf Pack Double Signature flute in the key of F sharp minor (F♯ minor) is carefully handcrafted from aromatic cedar wood. We consider this wood to be one of the best tonewoods, as it gives the flute a balanced timbre with clear, brilliant highs and full, warm lows.

Double flutes are just as easy to play as single flutes, but require a little more breath. We particularly appreciate double flutes because of their fascinating sound, which gives the impression that two musicians are playing the flute at the same time.

All current Wolf Pack Double Signature flutes are equipped with drone holes as standard, unless otherwise specified. Our double flutes in A-frame construction consist of two flute sides: the melody flute with six finger holes and the drone flute with three finger holes. The drone side can play both the low and the high octave of the respective key.

The double flutes have two mouthpieces so that you can switch effortlessly between playing as a double flute and as a single flute at any time. The unique A-frame construction also ensures excellent sound projection and volume.

The flute is tuned to F sharp minor (F♯ minor) and can also be played in the parallel major scale of A major. It is 22 inches (56 cm) long and measures 7.5 inches (18 cm) at its widest point.

All the flutes in our Signature Series have a special air-guiding system that enables an exceptionally fast response, precise playing control and excellent sound amplification. This makes them suitable for a wide range of musical styles.

The design motif of the Wolf Pack series is the result of a collaboration between Odell Borg and the Native American musician Jan Looking Wolf. The flute body is carefully shaped by hand, finely sanded and treated with a specially developed, non-toxic, water-based wood finish that enhances both the sound quality and the natural beauty of the wood.
