The "Duo" is a distinctive instrument that is accessible from both sides and can therefore be played by up to four people at the same time. The instrument is tuned according to the pentatonic scale; the left and right sides are arranged as mirror images, with a C major scale extending over two octaves (from C4 to C5). The "Duo" can be constructed from individual keys made of aluminum, IPE or glass fiber reinforced plastic (GRP). Each of these materials produces a distinctive sound when played.
There are no wires or strings as the notes are individually and securely attached to the resonators to produce maximum vibration with incredible tones and resonance.
