Kalimba B15 G major

Kalimbas are reed instruments that originated in southern Africa and can be found there in countless shapes and designs. Our Kalimba B15 is made from solid American cherry (black cherry) in careful handwork here in Walsrode. The surfaces are treated with vegetable oils and waxes and polished. The 15 sound reeds are precisely tuned in the G major scale, which allows a wide variety of songs to be played. However, the Kalimba B15 is just as suitable for improvising and intuitive playing as well as for chordal accompaniment of melodies.
