The Koshi Ocean is part of the Earth Symphony, inspired by nature’s vast landscapes: mountains, forests, rivers, and the ocean. Tuned to 440 Hz , Ocean produces a broad, deep, and flowing sound that evokes the infinity and movement of the sea.
"Ocean" is in B major (B-flat major) and is based on a pentatonic scale. The soundboard consists of twelve hand-tuned steel strings. Four of them serve as double sympathetic resonators and provide a particularly long and rich resonance.
