BeschreibungThe lyre is a very easy to play plucked instrument in diatonic or pentatonic tuning. It sounds like a small harp, its sound is delicate and soft. The lyre consists of an oval frame, the lower half of which is a closed resonating body and the upper half is an open playing surface. To play, you hold the instrument in your arms or place it on your lap.
The lyre is ideal for making music freely and discovering your own melodies. Like the kalimba, the lyre is also suitable for storytellers
