The Klangrad consists of a rotating, circular soundbox equipped with several overlapping playing surfaces: The Klangrad combines the musical and playful potentials of the monochord, the tambura, and the kantele in a single soundbox.
Its unique characteristics and possibilities are best realized when used as a group instrument: the KlangRad® offers people of all ages the opportunity to connect with one another through playing an instrument together.
The instrument can also be played by a single person.
