This small Spirit flute in the key of high 'd' minor (440 Hz) is handcrafted in southern Arizona from local sustainable Spanish cedar. A softwood that gives the flute a warm, rich musical voice with clarity in the high notes. The Spirit flutes feature a unique fixed sound plate design that is durable as it cannot be accidentally moved. This flute is approximately 29 inches long, making it a small flute, which makes it ideal for travel, people with small hands and limited hand mobility. All flutes have six holes, but the n the third hole from the top of the flute (known as six-hole) is covered with a leather strap, which can facilitate learning to play.
