Material & workmanship
Our traditional double flute in the key of G minor is made from local walnut wood (hardwood).
All High Spirit flutes are sealed with non-toxic oils, which ensures a clear and brilliant sound.

Playing characteristics

• Double flutes are just as easy to play as single flutes
• Only require a little more breath
• Equipped with two mouthpieces
• Can be played immediately as a double or single flute - without any adjustment

Sound & tuning

• One side plays the melody
• The other produces a drone (fundamental tone)
• Sound effect: like two people playing at the same time

Tuning:

• Basic key: G minor
• Can also be played in the parallel major key: A♯ major (diatonic)
